The project comprises two five-storey buildings, each containing 200 student rooms, flanking a central communal courtyard. The primary goal is to create a sense of community while also providing individual privacy. Thus, the courtyard serves as both a meeting point and the entrance to each building. It references the traditional college dormitory, where students transition from private to public spaces through interaction. Shared spaces and vertical circulation at the core of each building encourage social interaction. The central communal space is a double-height volume that plays a key role in connecting the floors and defining the building's compositional elements. Each wing of the building contains 30 student rooms per floor. Each room includes a kitchenette and a bedroom space with an en-suite shower. With an area of 20 square metres, the room creates a spacious feel and features operable floor-to-ceiling windows 2.7 metres high. Service facilities are concentrated in the middle of the plan.
