The building is conceived as two solid, linear wings separated by a courtyard. The south wing responds to the college's quadrangle, while the north wing gently curves, providing a distinctive and striking backdrop to the playground. The two wings are simultaneously separated and bound together by a massive, steel-and-glass double-height recreation atrium, aptly named "The Central," which forms the heart of the building. The atrium functions not only as a central sports hub but also as a space for informal gatherings, impromptu performances, self-study, and immersive digital experiences. Overall, the architectural design is contemporary and clean. It marks a clear departure from the existing campus architectural style, yet remains sympathetic to the overall orthogonal planning of the campus. The building's form is driven by optimizing spatial relationships while adhering to the fundamental principles of good environmental design—particularly interior environmental comfort.
